Unauthenticated database manipulation via unfiltered prodtype parameter
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips Sales Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the prodtype parameter. The addstock.php handler inserts the POST-supplied prodtype value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No authentication is required; a time-based blind payload can trigger MySQL SLEEP delays and expose or alter data within the database account's permissions.
