Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Inisev Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons before 2.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The Optional settings icon-language field accepts the sfsi_facebook_icons_language request value without sanitizing or escaping it before later page output. Administrator privileges and subsequent viewing of an affected page are required, and the security boundary is exposed only on multisite installations or sites that disable unfiltered_html.
