CVE-2024-10351Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked deviceList copy

Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda RX9 Pro 22.03.02.20 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a POST request. The /goform/setMacFilterCfg handler passes the attacker-controlled deviceList value through sub_424CE0 to sub_423B10, where strcpy copies it into a fixed-size stack buffer without a length check. A low-privileged management session is required, and exploitation can crash the router or execute code in the firmware context.
