Authenticated database manipulation via unsanitized docname parameter
Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in code-projects Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete database data. The /admin/add-doctor.php handler places the POST docname value directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. The endpoint is within the administrative interface, and the CNA rates exploitation as requiring high privileges; resulting access is bounded by the database account's permissions.
