Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized tenant ID
Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Best House Rental Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The delete_tenant action in ajax.php passes the unsanitized POST id value into an SQL statement, as a time-delay injection payload demonstrates. A valid application session is present in the published request, and the demonstrated consequence is attacker-controlled query execution with a measurable delay.
