CVE-2024-10302Network attack vector

Claim manipulation via unvalidated self-signup names

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Improper input validation in multiple WSO2 products' self-signup flows allows remote attackers to store malformed name claims. Backend self-registration accepts given-name and surname characters without validation and writes the values into user claims consumed downstream. Self-signup must be enabled; resulting effects are limited to claim-dependent content manipulation, redirection, unauthorized actions, or data exposure.
