Session theft via unneutralized ListName parameter
Published Oct 23, 2024 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Reflected XSS in LocalServer 1.0.9 allows remote attackers to steal an authenticated user's session details through a crafted request. The /mlss/ForgotPassword endpoint places the untrusted ListName parameter into generated page content without sufficient neutralization. Exploitation requires the authenticated user to follow the attacker-supplied query, after which script execution in that user's browser exposes the session.
