Authentication bypass in CE21 Suite 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to log in as any existing user by accessing the user’s email. The ce21_authentication_phrase function processes single-sign-on authentication data with a hardcoded encryption key, enabling acceptance of attacker-generated authentication data. No existing account is required, but access to the target user’s email is necessary; targeting an administrator grants that account’s WordPress privileges.
