Authenticated SQL injection via userId argument
Published Oct 23, 2024 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
SQL injection in ReUserOrganiseService.java in ESAFENET CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via userId. The servlet fails to neutralize the attacker-controlled userId argument before using it in an SQL command, exposing data accessible to its database account. Low-privileged CDG access is required, and public records do not establish the exact database objects or maximum data impact reachable through the injected query.
