Authenticated SQL injection via crafted id parameter
Published Oct 23, 2024 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
SQL injection in ESAFENET CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through a crafted id parameter. The /com/esafenet/servlet/ajax/UsbKeyAjax.java endpoint incorporates the attacker-controlled id argument into an SQL statement without adequate neutralization. A valid account is required, and successful injection can affect database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
