Database disclosure via unescaped orderby SQL clause
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in Total Soft Video Gallery 2.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The admin list code in admin/class-tsvg-list.php inserts the user-controlled orderby value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Administrator-level access is required, and crafted orderby values can append time-based queries that extract sensitive database information.
