Missing authorization in WP User Manager 2.9.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to add or remove custom sidebars. The Carbon Fields add_sidebar and remove_sidebar AJAX handlers perform state-changing sidebar operations without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, but exploitation requires the Carbon Fields plugin to be installed; the bounded impact is unauthorized sidebar configuration changes.
