Unauthenticated service crash via oversized USERNAME

Denial of service in Gabriels FTP Server 1.2 allows remote attackers to crash the FTP service with an oversized USERNAME value. The FTP login handler accepts a USER command whose USERNAME field contains more bytes than the server can process and terminates while handling the value. No credentials or user interaction are required; network access to the FTP control service is enough to interrupt file transfers for all users.
