Unauthorized database operations via unsanitized login name
Published Oct 20, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips Sales Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter its database via a crafted login name. The checkuser.php handler inserts attacker-controlled login-name input directly into a MySQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. No login is required; demonstrated blind payloads can change query logic, enumerate database contents, or deliberately delay query execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
