Authenticated SQL injection via profile mobile number
Published Oct 19, 2024 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
SQL injection in jaychouchannel Boat Booking System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter queries through mobilenumber. The /admin/profile.php profile-update handler incorporates the mobilenumber request parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, and the published proof of concept demonstrates the flaw with sqlmap. Access to an admin or sub-admin profile-editing session is required, and successful exploitation exposes database records and permits changes within the application's database privileges.
