SQL injection via unsanitized booking-status email parameter
Published Oct 19, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
SQL injection in status.php in PHPGurukul Boat Booking System 1.0 allows attackers to manipulate database queries through emailid. The booking-status handler incorporates the externally controlled emailid value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing the submitted value to change the query. A network request reaches the flaw, although published assessments disagree on whether authentication is required; database permissions bound the records exposed or altered.
