Administrator-session script execution via unescaped generated URL
Published Nov 14, 2024 · Updated Nov 14, 2024
Reflected XSS in Simple File List before 6.1.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. A back-end settings page builds a URL from request data and inserts it into an HTML attribute without sanitizing or escaping the value. An attacker must induce an administrator to open the crafted settings URL; execution remains within that administrator's browser context.
