Stored XSS via unsanitized GDPR text setting
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in SeedProd RafflePress before 1.12.17 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a previewing user’s browser. The giveaway GDPR text setting stores input without sanitizing or escaping it, causing crafted HTML to execute when the giveaway preview renders. Administrator-level access is required, and the flaw remains reachable when unfiltered_html is disabled, including in WordPress multisite deployments.
