Stored XSS via unsanitized image padding
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Jan 7, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in RoboSoft Robo Gallery before 3.2.22 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript through a gallery setting. The Padding Left field stores unsanitized attribute text and inserts it into the gallery frontend, where hovering over an image executes injected code. Contributor access is sufficient; code runs in a visitor's browser only after the affected gallery is viewed and its image is hovered.
