Superuser API access via crafted URL suffixes
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Authentication bypass in Ericsson CodeChecker 6.24.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain superuser API access via crafted URLs. The server exempts API paths ending in Authentication, Configuration, or ServerInfo from authentication even when they contain another valid endpoint. No credentials or user interaction are required, and exposed functionality permits reading, adding, changing, or deleting stored products.
