Authenticated code execution via profile-photo upload
Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated Oct 18, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in SourceCodester Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The Profile Page edit-photo.php handler permits a crafted profile-photo upload, but public records do not identify the manipulated parameter or exact validation error. High-privilege authentication is required; a successful upload places attacker-controlled server-side code in the application environment.
