CVE-2024-10068Public exploit

Local code execution via replaceable cryptographic DLL

Published Oct 17, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2024

DLL hijacking in OpenSight Software FlashFXP 5.4.0.3970 allows local users to execute code through a replaced libcrypto-1_1.dll. FlashFXP.exe loads the library from its application directory without verifying that the file is legitimate. The attacker must already be able to replace that DLL locally; the payload then runs with the privileges of the user who launches FlashFXP.
