Published Oct 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Fahad Mahmood RSS Feed Widget 2.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode attributes. The rfw-youtube-videos shortcode renders user-controlled attributes into page HTML without sufficient input sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor-level access permits payload storage, and the script executes in a user's browser when the injected page is viewed.
