Service interruption via malformed multipart boundaries
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Denial of service in RealChar 0.0.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service through malformed multipart upload boundaries. The upload handler repeatedly processes attacker-appended characters after the expected multipart boundary instead of rejecting the malformed delimiter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and sustained processing exhausts server resources until the application becomes unavailable.
