CVE-2024-10033Network attack vector

Session theft via crafted next URL

Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform before 2.5.3 allows remote attackers to steal session data through a crafted next URL. Red Hat identifies the next query parameter and gateway redirect flow but has not published the exact rendering operation that fails to neutralize it. A user must open the crafted URL; injected script then runs in that user's browser context and can redirect the session, read session data, or perform actions as that user.
