CVE-2024-1002Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized ePort parameter

Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK N200RE 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The setIpPortFilterRules function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi processes an oversized ePort argument until it overruns a stack buffer. High-privilege access to the management interface is required, and successful exploitation corrupts memory in the router's CGI process.
