Unsafe deserialization in Progress Telerik UI for WinForms and WPF before 2024.4.1113 allows local users to execute code via crafted input. For WinForms, the RichTextBox external document-style loader deserializes attacker-controlled style content without safe type restrictions. A WinForms application must use RichTextBox and load the crafted style; the CVE record does not disclose the corresponding WPF reachability path.
