Memory corruption via oversized index parameter
Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda i6 1.0.0.9(3857) httpd allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via the index parameter. The WifiMacFilterGet handler accepts oversized index input without enforcing the destination stack-buffer boundary, overwriting adjacent process memory. The CNA assessment requires administrator-level privileges, and the public proof of concept establishes the overflow without documenting reliable code execution.
