CVE-2024-0991Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized funcpara1 value

Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated Oct 18, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda I6 1.0.0.9(3857) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via funcpara1. The formSetCfm handler for /goform/setcfm accepts funcpara1 data that exceeds its stack buffer, overwriting adjacent stack memory. The CNA assesses high privileges are required; public material does not identify the unsafe copy operation or demonstrate a consequence beyond memory corruption.
