Activity-log falsification via trusted X-Forwarded-For header
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
IP address spoofing in Moove Agency User Activity Tracking and Log before 4.1.4 allows remote attackers to falsify activity-log source addresses. The client IP retrieval logic accepts a request-supplied X-Forwarded-For value as the recorded address without sufficient validation. Any unauthenticated network request that reaches a logged action can plant a false source address, undermining audit-log integrity and attribution.
