Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked deviceId copy
Published Jan 26, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC10U 15.03.06.49_multi_TDE01 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The /goform/saveParentControlInfo handler obtains deviceId with websGetVar and passes it to strcpy without checking the pc_info->mac_addr length. Administrative access is required; the published proof of concept sends an oversized deviceId but does not document successful code execution.
