Authenticated stack overwrite via unbounded page formatting
Published Jan 26, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC10U 15.03.06.49_multi_TDE01 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite stack memory. The fromNatStaticSetting handler reads page with websGetVar and passes it through sprintf into the fixed-size gotopage buffer without a length bound. High-privilege management access is required, and the published oversized-request proof of concept documents no code-execution outcome.
