Unauthenticated code execution via unsanitized ticket attachments
Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Webkul Software UVdesk Community 1.0.0 through 1.1.3 allows remote attackers to execute code through ticket attachments. The Localhost upload manager leaves filename sanitization disabled by default, preserving a PHP extension in a web-accessible attachment path. No authentication is required to create a ticket, and an incremental ticket identifier reveals the executable attachment URL.
