Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Improper authorization in YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards 4.12.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify WooCommerce settings. The save_mail_status and save_email_settings handlers accept requests without checking the caller's administrative capability before saving supplied values. No account is required, and successful requests can alter gift-card email and mail-status configuration without reading data or interrupting the service.
