Cleartext data transmission in Softing edgeConnector and edgeAggregator 3.60 allows adjacent attackers to forge authenticated requests. Affected HTTP traffic exposes sensitive request values in plaintext, allowing captured packets to supply values for attacker-crafted requests. Exploitation requires adjacent-network packet visibility and user interaction; the resulting requests can bypass access controls.
