CVE-2024-0844Network attack vector

Administrator-level code execution via local file inclusion

Published Feb 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Local file inclusion in AI Popup 2.1.6 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute PHP code. The ycfChangeElementData() function accepts path traversal when selecting a server-side file ending in Form.php, allowing that file to be included and executed. Exploitation requires WordPress administrator-level access and a suitable server-side file; successful inclusion can expose data, bypass access controls, or run its PHP code.
