CVE-2024-0840Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via HTTP parameter injection

Published Apr 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Parameter injection in Grandstream UCM Series IP PBX before 1.0.20.52 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. The HTTP interface passes crafted request parameters downstream without neutralizing parameter or argument delimiters; no endpoint is publicly identified. Valid credentials are required, although factory-default credentials can satisfy that gate, and successful exploitation grants code execution on the appliance.
