CVE-2024-0839Network attack vector

Unauthenticated draft disclosure via unchecked GUID

Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Insecure direct object reference in FeedWordPress 2022.0222 and earlier allows remote attackers to read unpublished WordPress posts via GUID requests. The plugin accepts a user-controlled guid key as a post identifier without validating that the matched object has a published status, exposing private, pending, or draft content. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to attackers who possess or can generate an internal post GUID, with no reported write or availability impact.
