Stored XSS via unescaped gallery image URL
Published Apr 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Custom Gallery widget in BdThemes Element Pack 5.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The widget places its image URL value into rendered link markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, allowing crafted markup to persist in a page. Contributor-level access is required to save the crafted widget value; the script runs in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is viewed.
