CVE-2024-0810Network attack vector

Cross-origin data disclosure via DevTools policy bypass

Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated May 22, 2025

Improper access control in Google Chrome before 121.0.6167.85 allows attackers to leak cross-origin data through a crafted extension. Google identifies DevTools policy enforcement as the locus but has not published which request or authorization check mishandles extension-controlled input. Exploitation requires a user to install the malicious extension; the resulting exposure is limited to cross-origin data, with no reported write or service-interruption capability.
