Administrator-assisted content deletion via forged requests
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in WOLF – WordPress Posts Bulk Editor and Manager Professional 1.0.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to edit content via forged requests. The wpbe_create_new_term, wpbe_update_tax_term, wpbe_delete_tax_term, wpbe_save_options, wpbe_bulk_delete_posts_count, wpbe_bulk_delete_posts, and wpbe_save_meta functions process state-changing requests without valid nonce checks. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted link or request; resulting actions create, edit, or delete taxonomy terms, change plugin options, delete posts, or modify post metadata.
