Plugin activation via missing nonce validation
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Envo's Templates & Widgets for Elementor and WooCommerce allows remote attackers to activate installed plugins. The ajax_plugin_activation handler processes an attacker-controlled activation request without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit the forged request, and the result is limited to activating an arbitrary plugin already installed on the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
