CVE-2024-0765Network attack vector

Authenticated data exfiltration via unrestricted export endpoint

Published Mar 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024

Improper authorization in Mintplex Labs AnythingLLM before 1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to export all instance data. The data-export handler accepts any signed-in role and creates a downloadable archive of the server's saved state without an administrator check. Any invited Default-role user on a multi-user instance can retrieve the archive, exposing the saved configuration and data before the temporary export is deleted.
