CVE-2024-0756Public exploitNetwork attack vector

External content injection via unvalidated iframe source

Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Mar 3, 2026

Content injection in Insert or Embed Articulate Content into WordPress 4.3000000023 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to load external pages. The e-Learning Gutenberg block accepts a modified src URL in post content without restricting it to the uploaded package, then renders that URL in an iframe. An attacker needs permission to create and publish a post, and a visitor must open the post for the external content to load in the visitor's browser.
