Authenticated command execution via workflow condition evaluation
Published Jan 19, 2024 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Code injection in mldong 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through a crafted workflow condition. DecisionModel.ExpressionEngine passes saved decision-node conditions to Hutool ExpressionUtil.eval as Spring Expression Language, permitting Runtime.exec calls. A user must be able to create and deploy a conditional workflow; starting its process executes the command with the server's privileges.
