Arbitrary SQL execution via unconverted a_name parameter
Published Jan 19, 2024 · Updated May 30, 2025
SQL injection in ForU CMS 2020-06-23 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through cms_admin.php. The cms_admin.php handler uses a_name in a database query without the integer conversion applied at other query sites, and SQLMap demonstrates statement execution. Backend access from an adjacent network is required; exploitation permits database reads and writes, including changes that enable file inclusion.
