Unauthenticated configuration changes via reusable cross-device cookie
Published Jan 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Improper access control in Byzoro Smart S150 Management Platform V31R02B15 allows remote attackers to alter firewall and user settings. The userattea.php authorization path accepts a session cookie when its value exists in the database without binding that cookie to the target appliance. A valid cookie captured from any logged-in S150 session can be replayed against another reachable appliance without logging in there, enabling firewall, IP, and user configuration changes.
