Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
SQL injection in Cryptocurrency Widgets – Price Ticker & Coins List 2.0 through 2.6.5 allows remote attackers to read database data via coinslist. In ccpw-db-helper.php, the plugin incorporates the user-controlled coinslist value into an existing SQL query without adequate escaping or parameter binding. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected SQL can extract sensitive information from the WordPress database.
