Unauthenticated account creation via client-side enforcement
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Security feature bypass in DeluxeThemes UserPro 5.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to create accounts despite disabled registration. The Disabled registration setting is enforced only by client-side restrictions, while the server still accepts crafted registration submissions. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation adds a WordPress account without changing roles or granting administrative access.
