Stored script execution via unescaped iframe attributes
Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Easy!Appointments WordPress plugin 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. The shortcode renderer places width, height, and style values into the generated iframe without escaping them as HTML attributes. Contributor-level access is required to save a crafted shortcode, and the script runs in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page.
